When you register with 24days, you provide us with certain personal information, such as your name, your email address, your address and your gender. Later when using the Site you might also provide us some other personal or preference information. For example, as you sign in on24days, we collect your browser type and IP address. We also store someinformation from your browser using 'cookies' in order to help your userexperience on our site. A cookie stores data about the user on the user's computer. Session ID cookies show us that user has logged in and can open up content as specified on our site. These cookies run only until you close the browser.

If you are under age of 18, please, ask your parents for permission before sending any information over the Internet.

When you visit 24days you provide us:

  2. Content you upload to the service
  3. Web Site use information collected by us as you interact with our Site.

With 24days you can create your own calendars and decide whether the content is public or private. We collect the information of your selections to provide you with a more personalized service. If you invite friends to our site, we will collect the information needed, such as your friend's email address. If you bring content from outside of our site, we save the information related to be able to show the content with necessary features.

You share and use content at your own risk. Please note that though you are allowed to set privacy options that limit access to your content, no security is full-proof. We are not responsible for the actions or the content of other users. When you choose to share your content with others, they might try to use it in another way than you expected. We do not guarantee that content you post on the site will not be viewed by unauthorized persons. Since we are on the net, even after removing content, copies of the same content may remain viewable in pages that are cached and archived or because of other users who have copied or stored your content.

By using 24days, you understand your personal data is transferred to and processed in Finland. We may occasionally use your name and email address to tell you about new services offered by 24days or our third parties that we think you may find valuable. If you selected on your profile that you do not allow any other contacting than notifications related strictly to the Site, your request is honored. However, 24days may use information in your profile without identifying you as an individual to third parties.


Sharing Your Information with Third Parties

24days does not provide contact information to third party marketers without your permission. We share your information with third parties only in limited circumstances. Sometimes sharing is 1) reasonably necessary to offer the service, 2) legally required or, 3) permitted by you. You are able with privacy settings restrict other users from accessing your content and with privacy settings you decide who has access to your information.


Changing or Removing Information

You may modify any of your profile information at any time by signing in to your account. Information is updated immediately. You can also delete any content of yours, except your comments on discussion threads.

Please, note that if you have shared content publicly with other users and let them use your content as part of their calendars, your content will not be removed from these calendars. We can just freeze the access to use that content in other, new calendar combinations.

Deleting your profile

If you want to deactivate your 24 days account, go to the My Account page. Deleting your profile is permanent. We will not be able to undo this action.


Security

Your account information is on a secured server behind a firewall. We encrypt sensitive information (such as credit card number) using secure socket layer technology (SSL). Yet, we have no responsibility to maintain back-ups for your content.
